East Africa - Week 5

Uganda 16 August 2015 to 22 August 2015

I have not been able to upload photographs to my blog without wifi or decent band width but will add my photographs to my blog post as soon as I can.

The highlight of our fifth week, in Kenya was seeing Red-throated Tit at Swara Plains, my 4000th bird species.  It felt great as I’d done some tough birding over the last couple of years to see these birds.

Day 29 – Nyungwe National Park, Rwanda

Day 30 – Akagera National Park, Rwanda

Day 31 – Akagera National Park, Rwanda

Day 32 – Swara Plains, Kenya

Day 33 – Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya

Day 34 -  Lake Baringo, Kenya

Day 35 – Lake Baringo, Kenya

As at the end of my fifth week, I had seen 252 species of in Kenya and 357 new lifers which was fantastic.
